  The staff at northwell here is nasty and need to be fired I’ve been calling for 3 days to get my insulin and they gave me a hard time I had to come to the office and complain and demand it the Nurse rn Mary told me over the phone to go to my old doctor to get my refill like how disgusting I asked for her license number and they refused to give it to me ! When they finally sent my prescription they sent one insulin pen tryna be funny! Please stay away from this place! There is a lady Hispanic or white at the right side of the front desk who wears lip liner peachy gloss who was pointing her finger and talking like we was on the street arguing because I simply spoke up for myself because I need my medicine! I have recording or a staff member saying she sent a complaint for me and urgent message because it’s no reason why I should have a hard time getting my medicine

  Great doctor!! I used to go to him when he had a private practice. He diagnosed me with my heart condition very early on and thanks to him. It’s been under control for the last 12 years.

  Northwell staff is atrocious. While no fault of Katechis, his support system is terrible and I would recommend to stay away at all costs just because of this. Delays in prescription processing (sometimes takes days), not returning phone calls back, and constant clerical issues from administrative staff causing huge issues in patient care. When I tried to fix one of my clerical issues in person one of the heavy set administrative staff acted completely unprofessional and raised her voice multiple times (even though the problem is on their end). His move to Northwell has not been kind to patients, and unfortunately after many years I will be forced to find a new doctor.

  Stay away. Completely agree with these comments regarding Northwell staff and their unprofessionalism. Dr Katechis is okay, but Iv seen his staff yell at patients which is completely unacceptable at any level. No respect for patients, which ultimately impacts their care. Leave northwell!

  Excellent Doctor have him years all these bad reviews I’m reading are 100% wrong The location doesn’t matter when your doctor is so good you go at the other end of the earth as far as the staff most of them are helpful but sometimes OK maybe there’s one that is not as helpful but that has nothing to do with the doctor, the reviews that some people are writing are very shameful. That’s not nice
