They don't listen to the patient at all. It's the patient who's in pain. How can a doctor understand a patient's pain? They need to realize that what they know theoretically isn't everything. Patients physically feel the pain and symptoms. But doctors turn a deaf ear and only believe their own opinions are right. Have you ever been sick? Have you ever suffered from every disease? Sometimes, the patient's words are right. Everyone's constitution is different. Prescribing the same medicine for the same pain doesn't cure everyone. But this doctor doesn't understand that. My parents went to this doctor for a long time, but not anymore. I'd tell them to go to a doctor who thinks from the patient's perspective and listens attentively.

This is the first time I've ever encountered a doctor who insists on having to bring an empty bottle to the office when I ask for a prescription. He gets angry and even curses in front of the patient when the pharmacist calls to ask for a refill. Don't go to a doctor who tells you to go home and get the empty bottle, even when you explain that you live far away and can't bring it. Even if you ask for a prescription, he gets angry and curses, saying he's the doctor and doesn't care about the pharmacist or the patient. Beware of offices that abuse their power by calling themselves doctors. This doctor is very arrogant, unprofessional, and condescending. He won't refill unless you bring the old bottle back (no exceptions). If you ask him to write a prescription for an OTC medication, you can get it with your insurance. He won't do so, saying he's the doctor and will care for your meds. You don't know anything, so you shouldn't ask him to write an Rx. My pharmacist asked for a refill on my meds, I had a recent appointment so it wasn’t like I was asking th dr for a big favor. He had shouted at the pharmacist saying that he shouldn’t tell the doctor what to do. I saw him for an appointment and he got very angry about the pharmacist and even used profanity during that process. Then he goes on complaining how his day was ruined by this incident to me, the patient. He is just hungry for money, wants you to come back with empty bottles for prescriptions (he’ll get another payment from the insurance for that visit). I would have given negative stars if I could. Avoid at all costs!
