  Cleveland Clinic reputation as a world renowned medical institution and one of the top hospital systems in the United States, is not what I experienced during my appointment with Dr. Carla McWilliams in the Infectious Disease Department at Cleveland Clinic Weston/South Florida. My appointment was absolutely appalling and atrocious! Dr. McWilliams was rude, condescending, disrespectful, unwilling to listen, unwilling to fill out paperwork for my employer/insurance company, inept / incompetent to manage any type of advanced infectious disease treatment and might I add an out-write wench! The only thing she was concerned with was getting my maintenance medications updated with her name as prescriber so she could get kickbacks from the drug companies for prescribing my medications. Do not waste your time, she will not proactively manage your condition and her approach is to refer you to other specialist which are not relevant to treating your overall condition.

  I was referred to Dr Alhaddad by my primary. I received a call from his office to make an appointment. His secretary was very polite & gave me a next day to see the Dr. Checking in was very smooth, the office staff were all cheerful & after filing out the insurance form I was called into the exam office in less than 5 minutes. Got greeted warmly by Dr AlHaddad who was very pleasant he asked me about my medical history & the problem I am having & addressed it promptly. I highly recommend Dr Alhaddad for his expertise & politeness.

  "Dr. Mcwilliams" In order to see this person, they want a copy of your records so they can determine whether they want to see you or not(not very professional) Below is what they should do as per the Mayo Clinic: What to expect from your doctor. Your doctor is likely to ask you a number of questions, including: • When did your symptoms begin? • Do your symptoms come and go, or do you have symptoms all the time? • How severe are your symptoms? • Have you recently come into contact with anyone who's sick? • Have you been bitten or scratched by an animal or come into contact with animal feces? • Do you have any insect bites? • Have you eaten undercooked meat or unwashed vegetables? • Have you been out of the country recently Antibodies are formed in the body to ward off an infection. My wife had 3 of them-1 of which was for Lyme disease. Her neurologist said does not have but something caused it to show.The office of the above "Dr." told us she doesn't have Lyme disease and does not want to see my wife????? People stand a 50/50 chance of seeing a doctor who is willing to help them at Cleveland Clinic.

  He saw my husband at NYU Lutheran and told my husband he needed cardiac ablation. He should have brought him into the cath lab because 1 week later he was at Lenox Hill for 90% blockage of th widow maker. He is totally incompetent. Dr. Kokolis saved his life.
