  This isn't a boohoo poor me complaint nor a review bad visit due to how the office is kept. If anyone goes to this office... Like any hospital appointment please advise you take at your own risk hoping to have a positive result. If you're not seeing eye with a Doctor and you're put in corner on being intimidated... Please speak up. If a Doctor has a good reputation and you're experiencing a negative result... Ask questions and do your research. Someone may have a great experience with a Doctor when someone else could have a different result for various reasons putting your health in a worse case prior to entering their office. Those voices too should be heard and not intimidated. Reputation in this case may be built as their limited doctors around the area who are performing certain procedures limited in the area or accepting patients others may not. Those Doctors may be protected including supervisors out to protect their own. Do not be surprised if they try to shut you out. Believe in your health. Speak up for your health. And if you're afraid to... Find an advocate that will speak up for you. I'm giving a one star review after a thorough round involving intimidation, neglect, and being in a worse situation at health risks. Kudos to anyone having a positive experience at this office. I'm thankful to options to be seen. There are other great doctors I've experienced in other areas at Northwell. This isn't to discredit them.

  Teo Mendez always makes me feel like I'm his only patient. He's kind, patient, and takes time to explain every aspect of my healthcare program in terms I can understand. His smile is infectious and he never makes me feel that any of my questions or worries are silly or not important. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone having knee issues.

  Dr. George P Ackerman MD even didnt touch my shoulder, I had shoulder pain. He said ligament tears a d He recommended some PT sessions. I went for second opinion., boom no ligament tears. Chiro fix in 4 sessions. Now, I have to pay 360 dollar for a bad service. Thank god saved thousands in PT.

  Unhelpful staff, inconsistent messages/processes related to whether a referral is needed before making an appointment. My primary care doctor and I are confused and disappointed by their service. After 3 days, 7 phone calls, and two fax numbers, I still don't have an appointment. I will not become a patient here.

  Dr. Elguizaoui, listened, sent for scan, repaired my knee, referred me to PT. Great Doctor, Lenox Hill Orthopedics is clean, fast service.
