  Dr. Gotlin and his PA, Alexis, are fantastic! Extremely friendly and kind and was so comfortable receiving care from them. Dr. Gotlin is a great communicator and provided any and all information about my condition, prognosis, treatment options and long-term outcomes I could have hoped for before I even asked. Because of his thorough communication, I felt fully confident in the treatment plan he recommended. When I went in for a PRP shot, the whole thing took just a few minutes. Dr. Gotlin narrated through everything he was doing so I felt comfortable the entire time. I also appreciate how efficient he is. I imagined that getting treatment for my shoulder would be a drawn-out process with long hours spent at the clinic. Instead, all of my appointments were very fast. I felt less like a dumb sickly patient who injured herself (as I have felt with other doctors) and more like a regular person with a fixable problem; I felt respected and heard, and walked out each time feeling so grateful to have found this clinic! The only less than awesome part of my experiences so far was how long I had to wait before I was seen by the doctor, which isn’t any worse than any other medical clinic. Although I also believe this reflects the thoroughness the medical staff shows each patient. Highly recommend Dr. Gotlin for both diagnosing injuries and receiving treatment!

  Dr. Nicholas is a fantastic doctor. My husband had knee surgery with him 20 years ago, and now I had the opportunity to be treated by him as well. I had a complex meniscus tear and was in significant pain. When I saw Dr. Nicholas, I expected a long wait before surgery, but to my surprise, it was scheduled within just three days of my first appointment. So far, I’ve had two follow up appointments with Dr. Nicholas and never had to wait. On the day of surgery, I wasn’t sure what to expect and assumed there would be long delays, as is often the case in hospitals. Instead, everything ran perfectly on time. The level of professionalism was outstanding—Dr. Nicholas and his entire team were organized, polite, and extremely professional. I am incredibly thankful to Dr. Nicholas and his team and would highly recommend them.

  Great doctor!!! I’ve seen Dr. Wessling as well as Dr. Julia. All of my experiences have been great and all of the staff have continually been super helpful and kind! I had never been to an orthopedic doctor before, so to have this as my first experience has been extremely nice. I have never waited more than 5 minutes after checking in and my appointments are always quick and thorough. Additionally, the portal and website are extremely user friendly! I’ve made appointments, and talked to doctors and other team members with ease. Thanks so much!

  Great front office staff- they were fun and festive. LOL! Quick to check me in. Concise explanations of insurance, billing, and communications. X-ray tech was very polite and friendly. The PA Allison Abbene was excellent. She knew the right questions to ask, listened to my questions, and gave succinct answers. I was impressed with her evaluation techniques to ascertain what was causing my discomfort. I just wish that the practice was in my UHC Medicare network.

  This was my initial visit to NY Orthopedics. It was an excellent experience from the time I walked in. The front office staff and the X-ray team were wonderful. Dr. Bedford was exceptional. He is friendly, personable and very thorough. He listened to my concerns and explained everything in layman’s terms while reviewing my films. He provided a detailed care plan with a timeline and possible treatment for the future. I felt completely at ease and was grateful for the care received.
