  Yesterday, I had such a pleasant time with Albert A Panozzo's team. They were professional, warm, and concentrated on getting the piece of glass out of my hand (This is a long story). The team members such as: Terrence, Nykeisha, Katheryn, Pamela, Benjamin, the black woman in charge of instruments & the asian woman asking for all my health stats 🤔 this might be all, and also the receptionists calling me to ensure my timely and appropriate arrival. Another thing super important is this culture of care I felt with folks saying good morning, acknowledging each other, and acknowledging patients. I had such a great experience. Thank you!

  Not going back. The women in the front desk were very rude and after 3 times of getting my paperwork for medical leave on my job, they just reeated me like I am not worth being treated in a respectful way, they suggested me to go get my surgery somewhere else. Poor customer care. Waste of time, now I have to find another Dr to perform the surgery in another hospital. I was not there asking for charity. I pay for it. This was in Dr Ferdinand Chan’s office. I have spent time and money on copayments that were not worth my time. #montefioreorthopedics #montefiore #badmedicalcare #badhospital #dontgomontefiore

  Montifiore Spine center is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with in the medical business. I got a call today, the day before my appointment with the PA Susan Paul, telling me Dr. Susan Paul has to cancel due to surgery. She is not a Dr. I called back and was told the only appointment available next would be a month away. Keep in mind, I made this follow up last week and multiple blocks were available. Now today, I am pushed back to a month away? This is unacceptable. My MRI results just came back, I am in pain, and I have disc problems in my back. Waiting a month is unacceptable! I made a second call to request another PA and DR. This department has many medical professionals. A nasty phone rep named Tiffany verbally bullied me and basically told me I have to see Susan Paul and wait. She also felt she needed to tell me I have to deal with her only like my primary care. Keep in mind I have had 4 primary care physicians assigned to me in the last 5 months after Dr. Michealis resigned, so her logic is wrong. Tiffany continued to go “back and forth” with me in a very unprofessional manner which is contrary to proper medical decorum and customer service. I informed her I will be making complaints and notifications about this terrible patient care and service. She expressed no concern; offered no resolution, and said “ok.” Her tone and attitude was bellicose. I have NYS patient rights and I will exercise them. Mintifiore”s spine center is absolutely terrible. It is no wonder Montifiore’s repetition around NYC is the worst!!!

  Dr.Walter’s is the best surgeon. I had foot surgery done. He explains everything and put me at ease. If he were a pcp I would go to him all the time because he knows his stuff. His assistant Heidi on the other hand, does not follow up with calls to make appointments or to be able to get notes. I had to contact complaint hotline in order to get her to call me back. In the end surgery was a success!!!! Highly recommend Wakefield location for follow up care.

  Alissa and Crystal from the pain management department are awful in assisting with referrals. Go anywhere else
