After years of suffering with nasal polyps and chronic and severe sinusitis and a previous surgery I finally got my smell back. I had my surgery the 30th of January and today is the 4th of February, I'm doing well a can smell and sleep comfortable at night. Thank you Dr Glassman for a job well done. You are a miracle

I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction + adenoidectomy surgery with Dr. Harrison Glassman in September 2023 which was recommended by him to fix my deviated septum and breathing issues. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing and life-altering. Despite clearly expressing that I wanted only a minimal reduction of my inferior turbinates, he removed excessive tissue from my turbinates. Since then, I’ve been experiencing symptoms consistent with empty nose syndrome — a chronic unresolvable condition that has significantly affected my ability to breathe comfortably and has taken a major toll on my mental well-being. During my follow-up visits, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that my symptoms were not taken seriously. The lack of empathy and attentiveness made an already difficult situation even harder to cope with. I wish there had been more careful listening and consideration before and after the procedure. I’m sharing this to help others make informed decisions and to encourage anyone considering nasal surgery to seek multiple opinions and ensure their concerns are heard and respected.

Dr.Glassman was an ok doctor, has gone downhill! My friend went to see him, he looked like he had dragged himself to work, obviously doesn’t care about his appearance or demeanor towards his patients, very dismissive according to my friend. Obviously, she will be going elsewhere! No empathy, he talks to his patients like they are making their symptoms up, he is not the one walking in their bodies or feeling their discomfort! Hope Dr.Glassman gets help or fired! Spare my friend the BS response about contacting you people please back! The one star reviews speak volumes!

If you’re a Montefiore Hospital employee with Montefiore Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, DO NOT go to this doctor’ office. BEWARE !! I repeat DO NOT make any appointments for this office. My wife, under my plan (non-union) for multiple years, is covered at 100% for Montefiore providers. If we are treated by any Montefiore providers we are covered. However the doctor’s billing staff (ENT LLC) sent us a bill for services rendered at a Montefiore office location. My wife paid the office copayment which is what we are required to pay for outpatient services but not to be sent another bill that was clearly covered my employee Montefiore Anthem BCBS insurance. Look at the online Montefiore provider list and you’ll notice his name, title, Montefiore affiliation and location. I am beyond frustrated that a Montefiore affiliated doctor’s billing department would do this to an employee or employee’s family. BCBS also reported that they did not list any Montefiore information on the billing documents. I’m in the process of appealing this. Extremely Disappointed. 12/2025 Update: Found out that this Dr. Glassman does not directly work for Montefiore but only what they term as "an affiliate". Meaning Blue Cross Blue Shield in-network provider but can charge separately for all copayments rendered anywhere else. So not only did I have a bill but they sent me another bill for an additional amount they said wasn't covered or paid/covered by my Montefiore Anthem BCBS. I had to pay two separate unexpected bills for which the services rendered were awful according to my wife. His office/name representation online appears misleading because it appears as though he directly works for Montefiore but he does not. If you decided to go to this office, you will be sent a separate bill or two for any services. Do your homework and call your insurance to check your specific coverage. That email response from them did nothing to reduce to the bill but only to send me the second bill.

When I made the appointment, I specified having ear issues and was given an appt to see Dr. Glassman. I was given a hearing test prior to seeing him and the technician said one of the tests showed one ear working differently than the other. When I saw the doctor, he asked if I googled my symptoms, i might have seen something that is a possible diagnosis and then he admitted he is a nasal specialist, not an ear specialist. He gave me the option to go on a sodium diet, get a head MRI and see him again in 2 weeks or go to an ear specialist to continue trying to figure out what's wrong. I felt like it was a waste of time and a copay. Why have me see a nasal specialist??? I learned more from Google than I did at that appt. He might be a great nasal doctor but do not see him if you are having ear problems, specifically.
