Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to speak with a doctor. I booked an appointment clearly outlining the purpose of the visit. The appointment was confirmed 24 hours later with the assumption a confirmed appointment indicates I will be seen by the doctor for the issue outlined. When I get there, it’s relayed that I need to see a different specialist, which is understandable but that information needs to be communicated before someone arrives to the office to be seen on that day. The nearest appointment was a few days later. Call this location before you take time off for an appointment.

Typically, I like to reserve judgment until after I get to speak to someone at a medical facility, but I'm making an exception for this "encounter." 38 minutes and 5 seconds. That's how long I was sitting at home listening to Beethoven (at least it's different from your typical elevator music) while I was waiting for either a representative or even the menu options to be able to select the option to speak to a representative. This location was suggested by my PCP so I thought that things would go smoothly since I doubt that they'd suggest a possible bad place to a regular patient of nearly 5 years. In the time frame where I was waiting on the phone, I could've made a pot of rice and salchicha and still had time to take out the trash. Nobody should be waiting nearly 40 minutes to speak to a representative for what was supposed to be a request to make an appointment.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting an orthopedic doctor at Emu Health, and I couldn't be more delighted with my experience. Overall, my experience at Emu Health was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of orthopedic care.
