I’m very disappointed with my experience at this clinic. I made an appointment and, both times I went, I had to wait over 40 minutes to be seen by a doctor. At my most recent visit, I had a 10:30 AM appointment, and at 11:15 AM they brought another patient in ahead of me. That was extremely frustrating and felt very disrespectful of my time. If there are delays, they should at least communicate them clearly instead of making patients sit and wait without explanation. I understand that medical offices can get busy, but consistently long waits and allowing later appointments to go ahead shows a lack of organization and consideration. Patients plan their schedules around their appointment times, and it doesn’t seem like this clinic values that. I hope they improve their scheduling and communication, because this experience was not professional.

CHN is a supportive and friendly family oriented organization. They treat everyone with so much care and respect. I really enjoy when I come for my appointments😊
It doesn’t change anymore
My first visit was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and professional, from the front office, medical assistants, and providers. I had my first pap done here and Dr. Kim made it so comfortable. It didn’t hurt at all. Also got my labs drawn here at the same time so it’s lovely. I had issues with my meds and they fix it by the end of the day. I’d definitely come here again.

I have been a patient of Community Health care for over 4 yrs, my doctor is in the South Bronx clinic office but I live near the one 157th which is this facility. I have had a bad experience with this place with the medical team as they are incompetent, lack of wisdom, professionalism and yet just no doctors to see you if you are there as a walk in. They only have fresh new students practicing. Today was another visit do to my chest, cough and headache bothering me so I requested a covid test to the nurse. Well, I was told by her : " there is not a doctor in the office today that can request those exam or any other exam, we only have the medical practitioners who are part of the training group within this facility". I asked her, does this place specify online this type of events and matters? She said she was not sure then I went and verified and they do not. I couldn't be seen because there were no grades doctor in the facility and the only person in charge of walks on were trainees. I found it beyond disrespectful to go to a place that in a different location they are above and beyond professional and practice what they sworn "Hippocratic Oath" but here they are not only playing withbpeopkes life as a tester as if this was Macy's in the perfumery department. My insurance Eatna gets fully charge as if a medical l, experienced graduated professional had seen me and even though in different occasions they had reluctant to assist me because In different occasions with a young white female conductor and her apprentice i have questioned this behavior or knowledge yet the doctor left me in the room alone and not explain if she will return or what was going on. She felt insulted that I requested a blood work test and antibiotics when I had was a blood infection and yet I had to go next day to doctor Kanahara in the south bronx location. Today all this scam finally drew the line as I'm very sick and I couldn't be seen after I was called on to see the nurse to be told they only have practicing students. I made a formal complain to Jessica the person incharge of this family and to the 311. I hope this place stops scamming us the Latin community and think we are ignorant as. We chose not to complain because that's what we do but when injustice has been done get ready. I'll make sure this place goes under investigation as I have the proves and days and all incidents. I was told today to go to City MD... I could t belive this and I left. Please make sure you research this place and its docyorrs and if you gonna pay make sure is not a scam but a real doctor as ypur health is important. Your insurance gets charge 100% wether is a student or grad doctor, demand what you paid for and shut them off here at 157.

I’ve visited the both the Washington Heights and Harlem locations and received excellent care & service. It takes a while sometimes to get them on the phone, but other than that I’m utterly confused about the poor reviews. The nurse practitioners and doctors are competent and I’ve not experienced long wait times as I have at other clinics. Perhaps it’s the time that I go which is in the morning or early afternoon. Additionally, before I lost my job I had excellent insurance and went to many high end private doctors’ offices. I’ve found this clinic to be comparable or better in every way. I’ve found my experience with this clinic to be friendly, patient-oriented, down-to-earth, & efficient. It’s clean & everything is connected through technology so you can go to either clinic & they have your information & history on file. They call in prescriptions quickly & don’t make you feel embarrassed to ask questions. They’re patient & explain everything. Whenever I leave a message, a health care professional calls me back within 48 hours (from a private number so you have to remember that & not decline the call!). On the whole, I highly recommend this clinic, particularly the nurse practitioners Evelyn & Amanda. But everyone is nice & professional. I’ll continue to visit this clinic even after I’m off Medicaid & get insurance from my new job.
