Dr.Lisa Kirkland was amazing, she’s so gentle and calming. I felt like I went to a Zen appointment because after she was done I felt so calm and relaxed. She’s the best Optometry I’ve been to in my life and I’ve been wearing glass all of my life. She’s it for me. If you love your eyes please go see Dr.Lisa Kirkland.

Appointment at 2:40pm. Came here at 1:56pm, it's 3:35pm. My daughter is still not being called. The front desk personal is telling me to reschedule if I want after 1 and half hours of wait. This is absolutely ridiculous. Front desk person named Rose is extremely rude.

I haven’t been able to see my primary care provider in a year. They kept rescheduling me with someone else at another location whom my insurance won’t cover. As a disabled cane user, traveling this far is impossible. I waited an extra two months to see Grace Chow (she is amazing by the way!) the staff themselves are great too so I’m sorry to give one star. My case manager, Ademola Thomas yelled at the top of his lungs when I told him he wasn’t being honest with me when he and lied about who he scheduled me with (he told me he scheduled me to see Grace chow on March 25th )- when I explicitly said last phone call during scheduling that Health First does not cover a provider that isn’t my primary care provider (which is Grace Chow on my insurance card). So now I have to wait till May 2026. A man yelling at the top of his lungs at another woman is unprofessional to say the least. As someone who very recently left an unsafe domestic situation, that was extremely traumatizing for me. It activated my condition and I have felt emotionally dysregulated the rest of the day. As someone with a neurodevelopmental disorder it’s hard to emotionally regulate as it is. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. The patient-provider relationship should never be like this. In many systems this would be considered verbal abuse, especially in a healthcare setting where power dynamics matter.
