At 3332 Rochambeau Ave (Montefiore) I had my ultrasound appointment here on October 21st, and from the moment I walked in, the experience was truly exceptional. This was my first time at this location, and the staff made me feel welcomed and well taken care of from beginning to end. At the front desk, there were two women working, one with short blonde hair who was handling all the incoming calls, and Danielle, who was checking patients in. I worked in the medical field doing similar work, so I immediately noticed the level of professionalism and patience the woman on the phone showed. She handled every call with courtesy and clarity, taking her time to actually help people rather than rushing them. You don’t see that often anymore, and it genuinely stood out. Danielle was jugged a couple patients and anyone else would be overwhelmed understandably, but she kept her composure. Even after dealing with a rude patient right before me, she remained polite, calm, respectful and professional. I told her to take her time with me when it was my turn because I wasn’t in a rush, and she still treated me with kindness and respect. That type of grace under pressure deserves to be recognized. My ultrasound tech was also incredibly gentle, comforting, and reassuring throughout the exam. As I was leaving, a few doctors sitting near by smiled, greeted me, and wished me a good day. Small gestures like that they matter, and they made the environment feel warm and human. What really moved me was how Danielle went above and beyond before I left. I’m not familiar with the Bronx at all and she took the time to help me figure out how to get back to my daughter’s school from there. She didn’t have to do that, but she chose to anyway most staff would suggest to just look it up, I had already gotten lost on my way to the place so image how I felt trying not to be late picking up my little one. Her help spoke volumes about her nature, character and work ethic. This location deserves recognition. I’ve been to many medical facilities including large city hospitals where the radiology department staff don’t show even half the professionalism, patience, or kindness I experienced here. Because of Danielle and the rest of the staff, I would choose this location again without hesitation. Montefiore should be proud of this team. They’re the reason I’m giving this 5-star review.

Recently came for an ultrasound and my patient experience was phenomenal. My ultrasound technician Viege C. was super helpful and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire exam. She made me feel welcomed. Also I had to make two follow up appointments and the lady who assisted me was also extremely helpful and I didn’t feel like I was bothering her she actually provided me with my appointments and next steps in such a professional and timely manner. Thank you ladies!

I went for an ultrasound appointment at 8 am. The receptionist, Santa was very rude. She didn’t allow me to check in until 8 am on the dot while I arrived 10 minutes earlier because she wasn’t ready to do it and was listening to radio and preparing breakfast in front of multiple patients. I’m pregnant therefore, stress isn’t good during this time. She clearly isn’t emphatic to this. SANTA then called me 3 hours later with an attitude regarding my insurance being inactive. Her tone is very unprofessional unless she’s saying hello or goodbye. Imagine being told your insurance is not active and that you’ll be getting a bill after recently receiving a new insurance and plan with an attitude. I asked to speak to her supervisor where I was then put on hold for 10 minutes then she stated that her supervisor is still on a call and will call back. Guess what?? The supervisor never called back. If SANTA can’t be a consistently welcoming person, she should go to a different field of work.The irony of her name. Horrible horrible reception service. Need a better person. I’ll be reporting this to HR as well.

I was supposed to have a telehealth visit with Dr Levie to talk about my tests results. I connected to the telehealth call and after waiting for a little over an hour for Dr Levie to connect and have the telehealth visit, to which he never connected, I had to log out. A couple of hours later his assistant called me to tell me he was in the OR and couldn't connect and that the results were normal, then she hung up. That was it. Then when I checked the notes on my chart I see that this doctor had wrote that he spent about 15 minutes on the telehealth with me, and that he explained the results to me and answered my questions and concerns which NEVER happened cause I never saw his face or heard his voice. And... this is how some Montefiore doctors make up "stories" for the insurances to collect payment from them, for something that DIDN'T even happen. It is very UPSETTING to see how the patients only represent business to them, and they dont really care about the patients.

Very bad service with attitude, I am 1st time mom 36 weeks went for ultrasound and the lady was so rude. They don’t care about their patients cause behaviour is most important, as 1st I was expecting so much better care and calm attitude. She print out 3 scan which I can’t even understand what it was. She didn’t tell me anything. I ask one question about my baby’s position she didn’t answer me nicely either.
